Christmas Arrives at Aberdeen Arts Centre
Audience members at Aberdeen Arts Centre will get an extra-festive welcome this panto season thanks to a collaboration between local businesses.
Scottish Christmas Trees at Tyrebagger has donated a beautiful six-foot real tree to the city-centre independent arts venue, adding a touch of Christmas glamour to welcome guests to this year’s festive pantomime, Dick Whittington.
Keni Wills, company director of Scottish Christmas Trees at Tyrebagger, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Aberdeen Arts Centre this Christmas, adding a touch of festive greenery for audience members attending this year’s panto, Dick Whittington.
“We wanted to support more local groups and charities in 2024 and, after running a Facebook campaign, were delighted to support over 40 organisations. We were amazed by all the good work being done locally by the heroes who give their time and money to make sure children, adults and animals have what they need – especially at Christmas.”
Aberdeen Arts Centre director Amy Liptrott added: “Panto season is always full of joy, happiness and a little bit of magic – so to be able to welcome our audience members with a locally-sourced Christmas tree is a real treat. We’d like to thank Scottish Christmas Trees at Tyrebagger for their generous donation.”
Tickets for Dick Whittington at Aberdeen Arts Centre, which runs until December 24, are available now.
