Supporting Aberdeen's Independent Stage
Aberdeen Arts Centre is a registered charity and receives funding from Aberdeen City Council to help support our work. 75% of our income comes from our community visiting our venue, ticket sales and donations. As council budgets are reduced and focus on statutory services, funding is not guaranteed for the future. Like all non profit charities we need your support to continue to thrive and make extraordinary things happen for our community in Aberdeen and the North East.
Whenever you make a gift to Aberdeen Arts Centre you play a crucial role in providing space in our community for wonderful performances and inspiring creative learning opportunities into the next 60 years.

60 for 60!
To celebrate 60 years of community arts activity at Aberdeen Arts Centre, we're raising funds to put new chairs in our recently refurbished Children's Theatre. We believe our community deserves the best experience we can offer when they are in our building. The redevelopment of our Children's Theatre to provide step-free access and accessible facilities is nearly complete and refurbishment of the theatre space to make it more flexible and step-free is underway. We will also install new lighting and sound equipment to provide the best facilities we can for our local amateur and professional communities.
To celebrate our 60th anniversary and add the finishing touches to an exciting phase of development, we need your help to get 60 for 60: 60 chairs for our Children's Theatre, one for each year we have been serving the community.
Your contribution will help audiences sit in comfort watching performances from local amateur groups, local young people and local professionals who are developing new and exciting work with our support.
