Creative Writing & Illustration

We celebrate different forms of creative expression at Aberdeen Arts Centre and our Creative Writing & Illustration workshops are perfect for young people who want to tell stories through paper, pencils and imagination.

Sheena Blackhall uses her wealth of writing experience to inspire the group. Every week there will be a story, a poem, or an object to provide an inspiration point for creative writing.

Something new for this year, we are keeping this space as a technology-free zone to go back to basics. Everyone is encouraged to share their written adventures with their writing colleagues to help build confidence in their creative voices.

Please note that ages are guidelines and we can offer flexibility to ensure you and your children get the most out of our sessions. If you have any queries, or wish to sign up mid-term, please contact us.
