Phoenix Youth Theatre proudly presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
A tale as old as time ... Bursting with glorious music and theatrical magic, this Disney classic tells the story of Belle, a beautiful young woman who lives in a provincial French town, and of the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved before a magical rose loses its petals, the curse will end and he will be returned to his former self. But time is running out and very soon the Beast and his household will be doomed for all eternity ... Be our guest and bring someone you love to experience the enchantment of 'Beauty and the Beast'.

We are based in a building which was not originally designed with accessibility in mind, but we have adjusted our facilities to ensure step-free access to the venue and all audience areas, including the main auditorium.
Step-free / ramped access is available via the 'Stage Door' entrance, accessible from Queen Street. Once you enter the building via the Stage Door entrance, you'll find a second door, beside which is a call button for contacting venue staff, who will provide access to the building.
Once inside the venue, all ground floor event spaces and the Café Bar have step-free access, and the Main Auditorium (located on the upper floor) is accessible via passenger lift. Accessible toilet facilities are also available.
We currently have 2 wheelchair spaces in the Main Auditorium and 4 step-free seats for those who wish to use them.
The building is open 30 minutes before any scheduled performance or event.
Performances will be due to start at the time advertised — this will be printed on your ticket. We will be open approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
The vast majority of shows and events in the Main Auditorium of Aberdeen Arts Centre will have assigned seating for all audience members. Check your ticket for details on your row and seat number.
If in doubt, speak to our Box Office team and we'll be happy to help.
