This welcoming and relaxed class is open to anyone aged 18+. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced performer looking for a fresh challenge, this session is the perfect way to explore your creative potential. With a shared focus on devising and working from scripts, you'll work together to explore the potential of live performance.

Meet Your Facilitator

Leah Christie

Leah Christie is a Moray-based creative facilitator with a passion for community arts. A graduate of Queen Margaret University in Drama and Performance, she currently works as a creative facilitator at Aberdeen Arts Centre, where she leads theatre and drama classes for young people and adults, helping them build confidence and creativity.

As a supported artist with Surge, Leah's commitment to developing her craft recently led her to attend the renowned Street Performing Arts Summer Academy (SPASA) in Tárrega, Catalonia, where she immersed herself in the theoretical and practical disciplines of street theatre performance. Through her work and continued learning, Leah strives to inspire the creative community by creating engaging and inclusive theatre experiences.
